Edelman’s clients need to tell stories across an increasing number of channels, ecosystems and audiences in ways that are addressable, data-driven, creative, always-interesting and earned. The leadership team will be charged with leading a team of social strategists, content strategists, channel planners and editorial experts and be accountable for introducing clients to the power of content to drive business objectives. They will work in close partnership with our existing teams in Creative and Performance and build a new Content and Content Strategy team to work alongside them. The new Connected Stories Hub will help clients build enterprise wide social media strategies, owned media and newsroom distribution engines, thought leadership platforms and performance driven dynamic content campaigns. Who are you? · You have 15+ years of relevant experience in field related to content and storytelling; advertising, digital agency, media company and/or client-side marketing experience preferred· You have significant experience in content creation with major brands, media or content companies· You are up-to-date with new digital technologies, platforms and social media best practices· You have the ability to partner with production to create content across channels, formats and velocities that drives client business objectives· You must understand the role that data and performance play in modern storytelling· Strong business acumen to support the daily financial management and strategic commercial vision of the organization· You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal · You must be an inspiring leader, teacher and mentor for others What are your tasks & responsibilities? · You will build a next generation storytelling and content strategy capability and team for EMEA capable of operating across current and new channels and formats· You will develop, oversee and advance Edelman’s ecosystem of storytelling offerings, intellectual property, narrative, systems and products· You will nurture a team culture and metabolism that is built to move at the speed of culture and social media and that prioritizes prototyping and experimentation based on data, culture and new content formats· You will drive and maintain market-leading expertise, innovation and thought leadership in digital storytelling, platforms, content best practices· You will directly lead client work and relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and escalation point for clients across sectors and disciplines· You will roll up sleeves, write thoughtful and compelling presentations, and teach the team how to up-level our work, and drive results· You will effectively integrate with Edelman’s data, performance, creative and production disciplines· You will partner with production to ensure the execution of high-quality content at low-cost in a quick, agile creative environment· You have to understand the role of data in driving creative development and understand the role of emerging platforms in driving new creative formats and innovation· You provide strategy, vision and continuous improvement to advance relationships with key clients· You will effectively influence, manage and develop large, distributed and diverse teams·You champion diversity; meets external candidates in priority markets· You will manage staff, performance reviews and mentor career growth· You acquire as well as grow business, advance internal initiatives and make connections to other Edelman IP, offerings and integrated solutions· You monitor and drive revenue growth against innovative client solutions/firm capabilities· You contribute to and support our client and financial goals in terms growth, margin improvement, utilization and client satisfaction· You create strategic plans, budgets and forecasts as required within the financial cycleIndividual Qualifications Contact details email@example.com
