About the role
As our Reward Director you’ll lead and manage Reward, Mobility, Vitality and HR Shared Services (Administrative Services and Payroll processes) in alignment with the GKN Aerospace HR Global Centres of Excellence strategies and / or regionally required systems and processes in the Europe Region (Netherlands, Germany, Romania and Turkey).You report into the VP HR for the Europe Region. In this role you have 4 direct reports and 6 indirect reports.
You deploy the global strategy, programs and tools defined by GKN Aerospace Performance and Reward taking into account local requirements for local programs, plans, solutions, tools and processes in the areas of Compensation, Benefits, Performance and Development, Vitality, Payroll, HR administration and Global Mobility.
This role also provides strategic input into the HR strategy for the Europe Region and to the Global centre of Excellence HR Performance and Reward.
You lead, manage and deploy the Regional Reward strategy and the required approval processes.
You lead, manage and deploy implementation and improvements programs and act as single point of escalation on exception management.

You sssure that all programs, policies and procedures comply with local legislation
You provide Compensation and Benefit services such as job grading (WTW / ISF) and job levelling support, salary data and market pay analysis, pension reforms, integrated Health programs and value-adding benefits for the employees and the business.
You provide the business with a support framework to manage effectively their Short and Long term illness management strategy.
You provide the business with Global Mobility services within the GKN Aerospace Global Mobility Service model including expatriate assignment management, immigration, domestic and international employee relocation, tax and (international) pay rolling, management of external service providers, (global) tools and act as single point of escalation. Define, implement local strategic guidelines on Global Mobility and monitor adherence to these guidelines.
You manage Payroll and HR Administration with compliant processes.
You built and implement these process into the HRIS system SAP SuccesFactors and link to payroll administration.
You are the main point of contact for the Unions in the Netherlands on Compensation and Benefits issues.
You (Re)design, implement in systems and manage all processes on Compensation, Benefits including pensions, Global Mobility, Vitality, HR Administration, Time and Attendance and Payroll.
You execute all processes in line with (labour) laws and regulations while being mindful of labour relations and collective bargaining agreements with a special focus on compliance.
You are our main point of contact for accountants on Compensation, Benefits, Admin and payroll processes.
You effectively conclude, manage and renew local contracts with external (global) vendors in cooperation with the GKN procurement team and manage the performance.
You deliver business critical metrics and analytics to internal / external stakeholders.
You manage the budget for local rewards programs.
You are our main Point of contact to all regional HR colleagues on a wide scope of issues.
You daily advice and consult to HR Directors/HR Managers/HR Business partners and Managers in other disciplines within GKN Aerospace.

What do you need to be successful in this role?
Typically 10+ years of experience in Generic Human Resources, including 5+ years of experience in Dutch compensation, Dutch benefits (including pension and health benefits), global mobility including shadow pay rolling, Dutch payroll, HRIS and payroll process implementation or other areas of Total Rewards.
Extensive knowledge of regulations for the Netherlands related to (administration of) compensation, benefits, Global Mobility, Pay rolling, Immigration, PWD and other related laws. Basic knowledge of regulations for other Europe region countries.
Knowledge of the health care marketplace to assess and evolve benefits design.
You are able to travel to domestic sites , incidentally international travel is required
Experience with direct contracting with carriers and / or other vendors, as well as through brokers of both fully-insured and/or self-insured benefit plans including pension plans and health care.
Ability to lead, guide, coach and mentor the team members and their career development.
You must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally in English and Dutch, as to communicate with employees, members of the HR leadership teams and internal and external stakeholders.
Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skilfully gather and analyse information.
You must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
You have a good proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel with the ability to create formulas, charts, graphs and pivot tables, as well as advanced proficiency developing briefs and reports and presentations with PowerPoint.
You are experienced with SAP SuccesFactors and the modules Compensation, Variable pay and Employee Centrals
