Your main responsibility is to define business opportunities based on customer insights and translate them into winning value propositions. You are a thought leader to drive innovation and strategic roadmap for Philips’ global propositions on electronic medical records. You own solution, product and claims roadmaps and define commercial specifications for the required products, being responsible for the realization of the products and driving the market introduction of these products.
You are responsible for
Upstream marketing activities for the products / solutions, including definition of the strategy and its enablers as well as its alignment with key markets globally. Value proposition development based on customer insights, including Health Economics for lead markets Portfolio, Product & Clinical claims roadmaps Business Case Pricing (price setting) and margin optimization Channel Strategy for assigned product portfolio Compliance with Quality & Regulatory requirements (if applicable)
Driving definition, development and introduction of the products/solutions, including cross-business solution development to our customers by meeting their needs, including service and consumables
Lifecycle management and market readiness as part of PDLM. Ensure completion of appropriate deliverables (feature descriptions, value propositions, costing/pricing/quoting materials, etc.)
Building underpinned business cases and rationale for investment and portfolio/feature prioritization to support new value creation
Customer and Market Insights: Analyze the market, the competition, and trends on enterprise level across segment technologies to ensure the portfolio is leading the market’s needs and expectations Develop and maintain a needs-based customer segmentation requirements (across global markets and supported by Market Intelligence)
Translating in-depth market and customer insights, as well as competitive analyses into winning concepts/ clear product specifications for the release train, in such a way that in short, mid and long term a sound business result can be achieved
Guiding and driving the development of new products from the initial phase until the final product, to get the optimal combination of performance and price in time for the defined market segment
Interacting with various disciplines including Innovation, R&D departments, internal and external design agencies, manufacturing units or external suppliers, marketing management, marketing communication and international sales organizations.

You are part of
The Electronic Medical Record category under the EMR & Care Management business. This business category delivers a wide set of EMR related software solutions. A few examples of solutions are (non-exhaustive): Patient Administration, Scheduling, CPOE, RCM, RIS, LIS, ERP, Acute Care & Anesthesia, Pharmacy, Portal etc. to support the different healthcare enterprises globally, such as IDN’s/hospitals, primary care, specialized clinics, health insurance companies, and patients’ homes.
As a member of the business category team, you will work very closely together with other disciplines to deliver innovative software solutions to our customers. This specific role will shape and define the strategic roadmap for the global portfolio across the EMR category with dedicated focus on several priority propositions.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor degree required; Masters degree preferred;
Minimum 10 years’ related experience in global product management and marketing for software solutions
Expertise in developing complex, realistic, and comprehensive business cases
Experience in facilitating (strategic and customer) workshops is a prerequisite
Experience in Value Proposition Creation (VPC)
Experience in SaaS / recurring revenue business models
Experience with structured road mapping
Experience with techniques such as story mapping is a prerequisite
Experience in successfully delivering propositions incorporating advanced technologies, such as AI
You have a healthy dose of perseverance
Fluent in English language, both written and verbal
