Responsible for designing and delivering Medical Education events focused on training Neuro, Spine, ENT and CMF healthcare professionals across Europe. This role is reporting to the Senior Medical Education Manager for Head and Neck Europe.
Partnering with the in-country Product Managers and reps to support the organisation of local Medical Education events (virtual, cadaver labs and workshops) Initiating contract creation in collaboration with local marketing and events teams and HCPs across Europe.Attending Medical Education events on site for set up and break down of the events.Collaborating with local in country events teams to communicate the logistics of events.
Training the in-country marketing and education teams to upskill them on delivering superior customer experiences.
Tracking metrics associated with events and training local teams on effective metrics to evaluate and improve our Medical Education programs. Communicating feedback effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Supporting the brand team with customer insights for product launch activities, sales promotion, marketing initiatives and physician/nurse and field sale training.
Supporting the set up of a European Education truck delivering local in-country training and customer engagement events. Collaborating effectively with cross divisional colleagues to optimize these touch points.
Proactively assessing existing and designing new programs for local education; engaging internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and seek opportunities to improve our program offering.
Coordinating the administration for third party grants and sponsorships and being the go-to representative for EU societies. Understanding the ‘High Risk’ payments process associated with these interactions.
Supporting with the compliance processes (CAPS & GRT) for Stryker Medical Education events and working effectively with internal events teams and compliance to manage the contracts processes where necessary.
Customer relationship management with key opinion leaders in the fields of maxillofacial and neurosurgery. Understanding and being able to network with HCPs from across Europe.
Creation of content for the monthly team updates and coordinating local teams to highlight their educational updates in regular newsletters.
Partnering with Marcomms team to develop stryker.com.
Leading the update or creation of Medical Education kits in collaboration with fellow Medical Education Associate and Education logistics team in France.
Understanding of competitor offerings and proactively initiating positive changes to progress our education offerings.
Supporting the Senior Medical Education Manager with insights for the strategic plan.
Being a coach and mentor to fellow education and marketing personnel.
Education and training
·Master’s degree in marketing, business or healthcare related discipline required
·Preferred to have experience in the planning and running of healthcare education events
Qualifications & Experience
4+ years of work experience required
2+ years medical device or Medical Education experience preferred
Experience with running workshops and cadaver labs preferred
Interpersonal and relationship management skills / ability to work independently and in collaboration: team oriented
Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills in English, second language such as German or Spanish is preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work effectively under pressure
Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organisational authority
Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
